So tonight as I was cutting my husband’s hair, I started to think about how much money we have saved over the years. I was thinking about the money because earlier today I mentioned I would like to go to Napa Valley sometime. I am always trying to figure out a way to convince my husband that 1. Yes, we can afford this and 2. Why we have to do this. Anyone else the same??
As I am cutting his hair, I also started to think about, why am I still doing this job? Here we have a coupon business with lots of hair stylist as clients. Then I remember that in my second life I wanted to become a stylist. And then cutting his hair lets my creativity come out a little. Beats my full time job of being a cow to feed our baby. 
Back to the hair cutting and how I can convince him that we need and can afford a trip to Napa. So, I have been cutting his hair for about 11 years. And do the deed about 1/month. I googled the average price of a guy’s haircut and from a barber it is about $10 but from a salon about $25. We’ll pick somewhere in the middle for the sake of this estimate and go with $15.
11 years…1/month…$15 per cut=====$1,980
Hummm, think that would be enough to cover air fare and lots of wine in Napa huh.
Now don’t start cutting your hubby’s hair just to get a vaca out of the deal. Keep using our coupons to visit PMC stylist BUT do find something in your life that you want to “do yourself” and save for that much needed vacation.
